If I ain't got you...

Championships was the beeesssstttt! Well, sort of.

The Thrill of Victory:
Seconds before my backstroke heat, i met my lane 6 opponent: Kathleen White. well, "met" is a lie, I HAD met her once before-- She's Peter's ex girlfriend. *screams and throws a flip-flop, barely missing Mike Young's head* I actually RACED my race. I swam a 1:21:70, which for me, is miraculous. She went something like a 1:24:30. PAWNED! OWNED! SMOKED! Choose your adjective! Overall Backstroke Results: Stef takes 1st, (WOOHOOO!) I RIBBONED for the first time in three years, with a lovely green 12th Place, earning about 7 points for Woodlin, and Kathleen got a lousy 16th, even though she swims year round, for BHBL varsity. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HA. She sucks worse than i do!

The Agony of Defeat:
My 50 Free was really bad. 30.30. Kathleen swam a 29.36, and i think placed, but just barely. and THEN, the REAL defeat: Woodlin placed FOURTH to Knolls, Charvale (Kathleen's team), and (perhaps even more humiliating) Ballston Spa. *dies* it was almost painful! we used to be the best... and then everyone just gets 987349827304982734 more kids to join their team, and they can walk out with the top places. DARN THEM!

And then we moved on to MUCH more important things than swimming:
The Banquet... okay we call it "the banquet" because there are tables, but there isn't any food... so technically it's just "Awards Night", but the voices in my head call it THE BEST THING EVER!!!

John and I got the "Prom King and Queen" awards, inspired by my Drag Day attire-- my green velvet Christmas Dance dress from 9th grade. Later that night we danced and sang quite loudly to "How do I Live Without You" by LeAnn Rymes! SO MUCH FUN!

Leah... er... Liyah and I decided that Max's award should be changed to the "I'm not that kind of man" award, from his quote on the guard board. Half of Team Falling Ceiling Tile did not fail! Chelsea got the Diver of the Year award! and it was coolie! ummmm... Stef, i already forgot your award! Brian got the "Are You Watching?" award... anyone remember any other funny awards?

*the crowd chanting "an-i-mal!" for Chris Huges and Connor Doherty
*Heather misspelling Brennan Colby's name repeatedly on her webshots (lolol its okay i love you)
*I Saw The Sign
*Barbie Girl
*Cotton-Eye Joe
*Singing with Stef in general!
